In this respect, inflation theory describes hypothetical events when the universe was young, inflating to form other universes (Gauthier 5). This allegation justifies that the universe where people live is the first space that split to form another cosmos. In this context, it is believed that the first universe that inflated about 13.8 billion years ago is the one in which people live today (Gauthier 5). Inflation is considered a continuous process, and, when it ends in a particular region, it commences in others. When inflation ended in the universe, it is believed to have continued in other areas and is still happening today. Moreover, universes’ inflations might have resulted in distinct cosmoses. Hence, inflation that occurred millions of years ago and its unceasing process justifies the multiverse theory.

Quilted Multiverse

The quilted multiverse justifies the endurance of multiple universes. The quilted multiverse assumes that infinite time and space dimensions contain unlimited universes (Aharonov et al. 2). The space expanse has infinite separate realms constituting the quilted multiverse. For instance, the sky is seen from the observable universe and is considered an independent realm from the observable cosmos (Aharonov et al. 2). In any universe, there are replicated universes that exist at the same time. Besides, the quilted multiverse stresses on events’ existences before the event horizon in physical reality (Aharonov et al. 2). In this case, the event horizon involves events that happen many times and are believed to be duplicated in many universes that might be finite or infinite. As a result, the quilted multiverse proves the existence of other universes than the one in which people live.
